How long do you guys bake you jig heads for and what temp?

20 min at 350, for me.

Put 3D eyes on AFTER baking.

I agree 20 min at 350. Except for a glow yellow that I got from Barlows that had a tendancy to drip. That one I would cook at 275 for 10 min, then move up to 350 for an additional 15 min.

Thank you guys for the input, Ive had problems with chartuse dripping at high temps.anyone else having problems with this color?

The last batch of chart powder I got, YES, & it has been driving me NUTZ!!! I assumed I was just getting too much on the head......

I will try curing at a lower temp & see what it does.

I do everything at 325 for 20 minutes. Timer starts once temp is over 275. I did bake recently for about 2 1/2 hours.. opps. Didn't notice any difference in colors.

Chartreuse can be troublesome at times. If head is a little too hot when you dip or you dip a little too long it can cause trouble too.

Here is a post o made several years ago that is the Pro-Tec suggested time and temps for curing!
Personally I use 390-400 degrees for 15 min which in my little toaster oven means I need 17 min to give it time to reach temp. The only color I don’t do this with is Pearl!
