If you like the Ethos Nano line of rods that are normally $99, Academy is selling them for $49. This sale is not listed anywhere and the rods are no longer avaliable online. Check the in store price scanner to be sure before purchasing.

Went to Academy in Waxahachie today and bought 6 more of them. They still have 18of them left. No heavys. Only MH 7', MH6'10", MH cranking, a bunch of MH6'6", and a few spinning.
Hell of a deal.

The store in Tomball still had several casting rods in MF, MHF, and HF actions this past Monday. IMHO, these are just as good as my St Croix Tournament Bass rods.

Anyone use the medium power? Would this be a good beater rod for bank fishing?

Anyone use the medium power? Would this be a good beater rod for bank fishing? it's too "whippy".....as in to flimsy to cast a lot of things. I have one. I'd recommend the 7' MH, it's a much better all-around rod.
