Do y’all throw them on heavy braid or heavy Fluoro? I know, “there’s already wires everywhere so how would braid effect anything”. I’m talking like for the depth they run and maybe other factors. Thanks

I throw on braid, I feel like my rigs fouls itself a lot less on braid, but I’m sure you could get deeper with Fluoro. Using braid in that 8-15 feet range seems to be fine for me.

Just ordered, Joey.
Looking forward to getting it in and trying. Never have fished with an A rig.

I only use 50# braid on my Hog Farmer. Also use weedless hooks. 1/16oz weighted on a 3/0 hook.
Love to fish the bridges and rip rap in cold water. Especially in the afternoons.

Almost that time of the year.
Good Luck

The most important thing to remember about fishing Alabama Rigs is to purchase (or make)some sort of bait holder so when you are not fishing it doesn't tangle up every single rod on your boat. I personally cut a hole in the bottom of a beer cozzie and slide it up over the rig when I store it, but I am sure there are better ways

If you need an AR you need a new hobby, such a lame way to catch fish. The same people who use these are probably against live bait fishing. roflmao

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.
