Well I really was not expecting much yesterday the wind was shifting around and blowing pretty good down in central Texas! The fish were very active to my surprise. Caught a few on conventional and a few on a heavy metal tungsten sculpin fished like a jig slowly along grass lines. If you can find the sections of decomposing grass this time of year it will slightly warm the water and bring fish much shallower than you would expect him if you can find sections of decomposing grass this time of year it will slightly warm the water and bring fish much shallower than you would expect. I really love fishing this time of year you dont get into a whole lot of small fish its really more about quality than quantity. You have the opportunity at some of the biggest bass of the year from now until February if you can brave the elements.

Nice bass and nice observation about the decaying organic matter adding a little extra warmth.

Nice bass there. I also enjoyed a central Texas bass experience a month ago with some nice 18.5 inches bass.
