I bought one last month at academy and haven't cooked one thing that turned out worth a darn. I like My bbq with a little char and this cooker won't get hot enough to do it. Mine is seasoned and broke in if anyone wants to buy it.

I'll give you $50 + $20 gas money if you'll deliver it to me.

You really need the smoke attachment to get your money's worth out of it. But it makes the finished product well worth it.

Turn it to 275 and bring to that temperature, add chips and let them start smoking. While this is going on, take meat out off fridge to warm some. When you get smoke, add meat. Leave at 275 till it comes back to 250-260. Cut the temp down to 245. Add chips about every hour for first 3 hours.
Thank me later

I'd rather eat a McRib than meat off an electric smoker. I'll keep my stick burner.

I don't have a MES or ever used one, but I'd like to hear why you give it an F.

Wife got me a Masterbuilt a few years back for Christmas. I wasn't impressed, couldn't get a smoke ring on brisket. I found out about using the smoking tube with pellets. Works way better. Last brisket came out barked up and had a pretty good smoke ring. Not going to say as good as my old stick burner pit that rusted out but good enough.

I still prefer a an old time pit.

Thanks, Billy
