In the light of keeping the KU staff together...you know, the one which so masterfully crafted those 11 straight losses, players are opting out in droves.
Thus far of the incoming class, only those ranked as follows have departed:
1,2, 4, 5, 9, 11,13,15
Can you blame them? I certainly cannot.
Someone commented earlier in the season about the success Kansas was having In Louisiana...those players are gone, but the assistant got a nice 250K raise. Doh!

I would rather play for Sam Houston. Why would you want to play for a team that gets slobber knocked every week unless there were no other offers.

Why did they commit in the first place? Wasn't it the current staff doing the recruiting? Did the coaches promise that the current staff would be gone by next year?

Guessing here...but I think they were told they should come to KU to be part of a huge rebuilding effort. Youre what we need to put us over the top.
Then watching KANSAS play...Brady couldnt put them over the top.
Ineptitude in play and coaching was obvious to all.

Even the basketball team is in turmoil. They lost at home to Arizona State.

Someone commented earlier in the season about the success Kansas was having In Louisiana...those players are gone, but the assistant got a nice 250K raise. Doh! That was me. Looks like they still have Corione Harris (4*), Devonta Jason (4*), and Anthony Williams (3*) all out of LA on their commit list. Oddly enough they all committed on the exact same day. Yesterday they picked up two 3* commits out of California. Again, on the same day. Devonta Jason (WR) is super highly rated, like top 30 nationally. He was offered by Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and OU. Plus everyone else in the SEC and Big XII. as of today, their class averages 2.92* - that is pretty good. For reference Okie-Light is just over 3*, TCU is 3.21, OU is 3.65, and Texas is 3.72

interesting, so devonta is out and others shaky at best. honestly i can't figure why devonta committed there in the first place, unless his mom is now driving a j-hawk blue corvette. I mean, no offense or anything, but the kid is a legit blue-chipper ... not that it couldn't happen, but he literally can pick any program in the country. it was an eye-popper back in Feb when both those cats signed.

Tony Hull is why.
He brought back some program from the dead down there.
Helping to bury one in Lawrence...
