It's not that cut and dry. I don't want to seem like I'm calling him a mooch or a deadbeat. That is uncomfortable.

Really? You called me out for weighing in my bag of small bass!

That neighbor must be one bad man to have WAWI tap dancing.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Just call him up and ask him to come skim your pool. I bet the net is back in no time!

Just go buy another one and tell him you had two all along. That way he won't feel so bad about forgetting to get yours back to you and you won't have to deal with your hormonal problems this episode is causing. roflmao

You could have invited him over for a beer and let him watch you dip leaves with your Frabil.

Well, you are.

I have turned in to such a chitty neighbor over the years - I had my neighbor ask to barrow my brand new trailer to use it to go to Missouri with for 2 weeks.

NOPE sorry...been there done that..I am now apparently just an old prick. I hate it but it is what it is.

Heck I let him barrow a big fiberglass extension ladder 2 years ago...he took it to his shop...it sat outside the entire time...when I finally get it back I had to wear gloves to use the thing because of the glass slivers from sitting. I told him he could keep it....he set in my side yard yesterday...MFr - so now I will take it to the dump in my freaking trailer! LOL

bitter neighbor!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

"Hey, are you finished using my left-handed offset wingnut threader? Well, I'm working on a project and need that tool. You're welcome to borrow it again if you still need it afterwards."

No suggestions of mooch, deadbeat, etc that way.

Well, I dang sure would not go buy a new one because I didn't want to hurt the idiots feelings. When he sees the new one, he will think that he won the war.

I like my neighbor, I'm not an angry person. It will be ok.
