Got a couple of pics of the DD's my son and I caught at Falcon last spring. I think these are incredibly good replicas of the real thing. Bryan at Anglers Choice Fishmounts did an excellent job IMO.
What do yall think?

The bottom one(big head little body) is shaped nothing like the pic(better proportions) and the paint is more defined on the replica. Not much orange on the replica either.

Top one looks ok

I agree, the bottom one isn't very good IMO

Yeah all that orange is a poor attempt on my part to digitally correct my crappy picture taking.

If the angler is ok with the mount, that's all that matters.

Yep and that second fish is actually very colorless (the fish, not the replica). I’m sure the taxidermist added some color to make it pop out a little more.

But congrats on those 2 big ol’ pigs!

Alot of the color was washed out of the pictures. The mount looks more real than the real fish did. Proportions are perfect, coloring is brilliant, detail is impeccable. The taxidermist and I spoke at length about the attention to detail and how I wanted the fish to look. He did not disappoint. I look at those mounts and see the fish we pulled from the water. Consider me a satisfied customer. Thanks for the congrats grout!
