I would look at some of the older big screen that are used and just don't use the gps stuff. That way you could get a 10 or 11 inch screen. There are some great buys out there.

I have a 5 inch for sell. It's 547xs and the 2D is awesome. I know you wanted a bigger but for the size it's awesome. I came across a really good deal I could NOT pass up. Also here is a good unit for the price.

How big of a screen are you wanting? Just 2D sonar or DI? Hodges Marine has a helix 7 sonar for $249. There are several deals out there for the Gen 1 Helix units still in stock.

The GPS is just a bonus. Don't worry about having sonar only. The GPS in most of the HB Helix units are all with built-in antennas, so there is nothing you need to worry about mounting. Look at the Helix 7 series. Excellent units and has a great screen.
