I have noticed the sunfish patterns changing. I fish a lot of shallow water rivers and the bite has slowed down a lot. You can still catch some Longear at the ends of fast moving flows. Shallow water weed and grass beds are not producing. The deeper pockets are producing some fish but the bite is very slow. Sunfish bite on the area creeks has slowed down a lot. Only picking up a few scattered Longear,Bluegill, and Redbreast. Creek fish are holding by brush piles and the bite is slow. As for the Guadalupe River Lakes. Getting some good results in 10 to 15 feet of water.
Side Note: Have not caught a Rio in two weeks!
They have gone into winter mode!
