Joined my ole friend Shadslinger(Loy) this morning to drift for some Blues. We didn't expect much with the high pressure blue bird day but we had a decent wnw breeze.    We ended up with about 10 box fish and a pair of 15 pounders and Loy landed the fish of the day a hard fighting 38 pounder.

Yes sir it was a cool ride out, but things warmed up nice and we did catch some good cats. The big one was a really hard tussle and the best fight and fish so far this year. It's always a good time fishing with Dewayne, we have had many good days drifting.  All fish were released to fight again.

Sure is nice this time of year 89000 acres all to ourselves. We didnt see another boat on the water.
When you get to fish one day a week you bundle up and go.
