a really tough day on the water today. Wind was only suppose blow 5 mph today....the lake was white capping all day. The only way I could catch a fish was to catch one yawning and drop the jig down his throat. I took my grumpy old self to the café to try and warm up and cheer up....it worked.

Man I could use a couple slices of that! Better yet make it the whole pie! These hill country deer are kicking my butt with a recurve! Least I'm getting lots of practice sharpening Broadheads! I'm about ready to back the truck over this thing and go back to crappie fishing!!

Thanks Bush Hog!! Bowtech looked sad and lonely on the case so I took it this eve! Devil sheep wished I had the recurve!! Man that thing is UGLY and will give me nightmares tonight fo sure!!!  The sheep is very nice though. My Bowtech has only took down one deer this year but I still have a little time left. Wish me luck.
