Add 11lbs of beans and simmer for 14 hours.

Almost forgot - add two bottles of liquid smoke.

From a Chili kit thread from last year, I bought Sucklebusters. It was a good. https://www.sucklebusters.com/chili-seasoning-kits/

Maybe this thread can be the official chili/kit thread for this season. I'd like to try a couple different kits.

Use a base like Wick Fowler or Carol Shelby. Add more stuff--onions, diced tomatoes, garlic, cumin, chipotle peppers, etc.

Either way. I don't mind. I will see what the wife can find when we get back tomorrow after lunch.

Check out Wick Fowler ..... follow the directions. Throw away the Masa and add 12 oz Tomato juice! No beans...
but I grew up in Texas.

O my, You just screwed it all up F4b. I grew up on Wick Fowler but carol has a better recipe. The masa will thicken it and the product speaks for itself. We won the chili cookoff last year at the dock. It was not even close.
