East and West lanes on I-20 will be shut down December 10th through December 13th just west of the Tyler and Lindale exit. FM 849 overpass to be demolished due to being unsafe. According to local officials, traffic back up could be as much as 10 miles on both lanes.

I was coming back from Dallas the day of the wreck.

East bound was backed up to 110 and growing. We got off and hit the back roads.

God loves you just as much as anybody else!!

Jesus offered His life as a gift for you. Please accept it!

Hwy 80 isn't a bad alternative. Just follow the speed limits.

If I were east bound from DFW, I would take HWY 19 exit at Canton.Take HWY 19 North to HWY 80. Stay on HWY 80 to Gladewater, then get back on I-20. Or just take the HWY 80 exit to Terrell.

State Hwy 14 between 80 (Hawkins) and 20 (Tyler State Park) is only 14 miles and a real pretty drive. But stay away from the Bodacious BBQ at 20 and 14. Used to be great but it changed hands and it sucks now.
