What depth is your slip?

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I don't know why the east side (Hidden Cove/Pier 121) produces fish sooner than the west side (Eagle Point) but seems like I need to start checking them out fairly soon.

Nice hail there.

I always wondered if Hidden Cove and Cottonwood let people set up thier slips for crappie fishing.

I have noticed that if a marina is in a good depth and doesn't produce well or very consistently, it is usually due to the cover in that marina. It could be that it isn't placed at the right depth or is just flat out not in the right spot. If the marina is in a good depth and doesn't have much brush (or brush in the right places), It just wont produce much.

My slip is 25 feet right now. lakes a little low.
Catching fish from 15 to 18 FOW depending on how your brush hangs.

Hidden cove does allow it. I have my boat in there.
