I agree with Doug. I wouldn't go to any lake in the USA. Id head to Mexico to Sugar. But if your limited to USA it would probably be Okeechobee, Harris chain. One those 2. Id flip a coin.

Go to Okeechobee!! It’s an experience like no other your first time. Kissimmee chain is also awesome and super fun to run around. Kenansville is a flip/pitch dream. Harris chain is wide open and can get boring. Big fish in them all.

It's been 30 years since I fished sugar lake. At the cantina back then you could have a T-bone steak salad bake potato and a margarita for 4.50. Cabins were 10.00. Great Lake back in the 80's. It's about 20 miles from Rio Grande City
