I can't find crappie in Benbrook this time of year to save my life. Fishing out of a new kayak has some to do with it I'm sure.

Any advice for this time of year out there? I'm new to crappie fishing that lake so any advice would be appreciated. I bass fished out there a couple of weeks ago and it looked to me that there were some guys in Mustang fishing off the bank. Are the fish up in the creeks already?

Tight on timber, 20-25', stay on channels. They had not moved into creeks last week. Only place I could hold the boat agin the wind. cold front may change that.
