How did those New Year's Resolutions go?
I'm still on track to finish out the year without falling back on my Resolution. It hasn't been easy.....there were moments I thought about reverting. BUT I got too much pride and don't want that clutch anymore.
With that being said, I'm trying to think of my next thing for next year.....I got a month to think about it and decide. This will be the year I turn 40.....I need a good one!!
So how are you doing? Plans for next year?

I don't remember what my resolution was this year, but I'm knocking at 2000 miles on my bike, kind of wanted to do it before the end of Oct, but oh well, and on the plus it'll keep me riding till I get there. It's 1000 more than I did last year. And I've maintained my weight throughout the year.
Maybe shoot for 3000 next year....
I'd like to get below 210 and stay, I did a few times this summer, but I like to eat... If I can get alittle thinner, I'd like to get into some racing. Think I'm going to do the Cat 3 100K race part of the Hotter'n Hell next year regardless.

Kids do that to the brain. Memory is the first to go.

It wasn't my New Year's Resolution. I haven't made a NY resolution for a long time. BUT I have lost 20 pounds this year. Still have another 20 to go before I hit my goal weight.

I want to get under 200. I got down around 201 this year, but can't get below and stay there...

I have never done resolutions. I never dreamed I would ride a bike for the 1st time since I was a kid but my wife got me into it. Have ridden about 900 miles so far this year. I actually gained about 4 pounds to get to 165 since riding. 58 years old.
Did find out I have a heart issue. Doc says I can still ride but I have to monitor my heart rate. I think I have had the issue for quite some time. Tests ruled out a lot of issues so I am only on one drug that seems to be helping so far.
Would like to ride 1500-2000 next year.

I have never done resolutions. I never dreamed I would ride a bike for the 1st time I was the same way for many years. No resolutions....but this last year I had an important one to kick and that seemed like my best way. Too many years had gone by "thinking" about it. Accountability is often the best method! Same hear on the bike....never would think I'd be riding skinny tires on roads...but dang it's been a fun 2 years of it! Met some cool folks around town who ride too.

I made my yearly resolution not to make resolutions and have stuck with it.
I am still above ground which sometimes surprises me. My health has leveled out and not getting any worse for the time being according to my doctors, who are interpreting lab results and not how I feel. I succeeded in totaling the car (fixable but the cost is more than the vehicle is worth) and now and being punished by borrowing my granddaughters Nissan Sentra, which is way to small for my fat butt. My driving is limited to Quinlan or Greenville. I get by which is probably more than I deserve.

I let my weight get out of control and at 56 years of age and at 360 pounds I finally decided this past June to do something about it. I joined a group called Camp Gladiator and I try to go work out at least 2-3 times a week. The workouts are very grueling for me at my age and weight but I have managed to lose 30 pounds and 4" in my waist, so it's worth it.

I got fatter and more unhealthy, but my back feels better. Really need to make some changes soon to make it feel great and get healthier

Mr. DBill, Did the extra weight in front actually help you back? Is it the way you walk/stand that change your body positioning, thus alleviating back pain?
I'm really curious?

...------ I want to say he had surgery. Yes, I had surgery on the back. Back pain limited my activity the first part of the year, then surgery in September and now Im lazy. I did start doing some minor core stretching and exercises this week though.
