Going to look at this boat to purchase, any advice? Would these boats have a wood transom?

If its a Travis edition youre going to see the cheapest lowest budget hull ever built.
If that wasnt clear enough let me know.

2001 sprint fish and ski? Probably can't do either very well from that boat.
Just sayin.

Little more detail Steez? not enough power to really pull a skier and fishing from a fish and ski type boat is always a compromise. The windshields get in the way, the gunnels are high, too many seats and lack of storage, trolling motor sits high out of the water necessitating a longer shaft, which is then in the way for the "skiing" part. If you HAVE to have a ski boat to make the rest of the family happy, I'd buy a dual console bass boat and make sure it has a ladder and a place to hook up a ski rope. All of these are my opinions. I have fished from a jet boat before....so I know you can fish for anything. Just, wouldn't even want to try it again.

That's the dilemma I'm facing..wife wants a ski boat or pontoon for the kids. I want a bass boat. I sold my Tracker to get a fiberglass boat..so now I'm trying to find a something in between for the family

My wife and kids couldn't give a damn about boats, lakes, etc. my wife has been in my previous boats 2x and this newer boat once.....all in the garage. My son has never been, my daughter has been 2x.
