jm bought the legend deal for two reasons control more of the little competition it was an have a running production facility that he could produce his triton brand in that has more sales than they were able to produce.

New technology? I wonder what that might be. The bass boat industry is behind the times in boat building but I would be happy if they just used epoxy and infusion for a stronger lighter hull. Getting a boat designed around that would be different.

I know on one of the Ranger models they offered carbon fiber lids and consoles. I am pretty sure carbon fiber involves being in an autoclave for the curing process. It would take a mighty big one to put an entire hull into. Not that it couldn't be done. One of my customers builds aircraft components and they have huge autoclaves that would certainly hold a bass hull.

I predict the new company will build a top quality boat and offer it to the public at a great price for the first two to three years to get the brand established. Then by the fourth year be at the same price point as all the other premium brand boats. *This is pretty much what Phoenix did in my observation.




*This is NOT a knock on Phoenix Boats. Just a keen observation I made. A new top of the line Phoenix is now $2K more than a Skeeter FX21 with identical equipment.

Probably best way to get the publics attention would be to get Van Dam out of that Nitro, Hackney out of his Phoenix and Christi out of his Ranger and into a new Vexus. That would definitely get them off to a good start. Lots of folks like to drive what their favorite pro's drive.
