and it turned out to be the ugliest crappie I've ever seen.  Thought I was going to get spooled so I turned the trolling motor up and chased it for awhile. The crappie bite was slow today so this turned out to be the highlight of the day. A PePop 1/16 jig and 6 lb. of that good ol Mr. Crappie Hi-Vis. It weighed 9 1/2 pounds.

Pepops jigs catchin nasty ole catfish. I shall throw all my Pepop jigs in the garbage.

Man everytime I catch a nice Opp I got a cooler full of crappie already!! Save me the belly!! I will swap it for a slice of pie!!!

Nice work bush hog...I heard they're pretty good eating
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

I've caught lots of good channel cats but no opp. Good fish on crappie gear. Lake X ?
