Fished 7:30 - 3:30 with night crawler "glow worms". They are night crawlers that must be infused with something ? Targeted deeper water all day (7-10 ft) Got 2 real nice red ear, 3 good catfish that r now in the freezer, 5 bass, and an array of long ear, red breast etc. Water temp still at 69 degrees and very clear. Targeted Red Ear all day, but only got the two. Had to keep one because it was gut hooked & bleeding profusely. Fish were very active all day...got one of the big red ear early (8 am) and one late (3:00 pm) both upper lake just down from the boat ramp.

I purchased the "unhookum" tool a few years back and it has come in handy. Not only for panfish, but any fish that is hooked deep or in an awkward way. I don't use it on an every fish caught basis, but it does come in handy when you need it.
