 Fiberglass & Gelcoat Repair on Skeeter

I've had quotes of $300 and $500 for fiberglass and gelcoat on a Skeeter. I know its hard without a picture but I was curious if this is in line with what some of you would expect to pay for this repair.
FYI, it's about the size of a quarter. It's not a hole but it's where a pole hit against the boat while ties up. Thoughts?

Is it through the glass or just the gel coat chipped off and you can see the glass?

Not out of line. Good fiberglass/ gelcoat work ain't cheap.

If the quote was from Classic Fiberglass it is right on the money. Chris doesn't stick it to his customers. If he didn't give you a quote go by and see him in Sanger.
