What jig skirt colors do you like to use in late fall and winter in north east Texas? The waters I fish are fairly clear to about 3' down? Do you match your trailer with a similar color scheme as the skirt or a contrasting color?

My all time favorite is Blk/blue with green pumpkin trailer for cold water.

It can be different on different lakes on the same day
Turn over some rocks at the boat ramp and take a look.
In general
Oct. PB+J
Nov okeechobee
Dec black and blue
Jan black and blue and red

Okeechobee 420 by Dirty Jigs has given me a lot of action lately.
I have PB&J in the boat and green pumpkin craw (brown and orange strands) as well. Keep it natural. The fish still eat in dirty water and it ain't because the bait has turned bright yellow.

Down in the central Texas area I have had good luck with PBJ colors and Don Harpers black and blue. I did order some to match this crawfish, but haven't tried them yet. Agee with earlier post, turn over some rocks near the ramp and see what colors they are showing.
