This box was in a storage compartment with another Bass Mafia box and quite a few much cheaper boxes. I have never busted another box while it was in the storage compartment and wonder if maybe the larger box is just weaker than the rest of the lineup. I've attempted to contact Bass Mafia without any reply in the last week.

That should NOT happen. I have nothing but Bass Mafia boxes, including the one pictured, and I've had zero problems with any of them. I'm sure Bass Mafia will take care of it.

They are all plastic.....and all will break eventually. For that reason, I use the cheaper-by-the-dozen Plano 3700's. I just replace them annually or sooner.

Good Grief! I have Plano boxes in my boat that are from 1990 that are still in good shape.

For the most part their boxes are the best in the industry of being strong. I would definitely give them a call if you just emailed them just in case it went to their spam.

I have only their boxes and no complaints. There is a guy on here that is associated with them, he took care of me when I had a cosmetic issue awhile back.

Yup, good customer service, had a latch break. Sent them email with photo and got a new one in the mail.

I don't know if I've ever broken a Plano box. I bought a few Bass Mafia boxes when they were on sale. I used the "Contact" form, emailed explanation with pics, called, and sent another email with pics to a different address I was given. Still haven't heard back. Maybe they took the week off and most of last week too....

Multiple calls and emails and I have yet to get a response. When someone answers the phone, they just tell me to send another email. Pretty poor customer support for the most expensive bait boxes on the market.

That's a shame because I'm a big fan of their products.

I've had this same issue. Broken latch. Said I would gladly pay for a new one in the initial contact email, but never a response. Called twice to no answer. Just left voicemails and no call backs. It's a shame to lose a customer over something so small. They make some great product.
