Anyone selling one WITH a title? Everyone i come across the owner never has the title to it lol I understand that a title isn't required if it doesn't have a motor on it (and most new ones are sold "bare boat" with no motorized propulsion. My 10' Pelican wasn't titled as there was no motor on it when it was purchased. The following statement is listed under "exemptions" on the TPWD website: "Non-motorized canoes, kayaks, punts, rowboats, or rubber rafts (regardless of length) when paddled, poled, or oared and sailboats under 14 feet in length when windblown. Adding an outboard or trolling motor to one of these types requires titling and registration." There are provisions for titling these if a motor is added. Certain forms are required, but it can be done I understand.

Yes but anything with a trolling motor or outboard has to be registered. Its also too much of a hassle buying a boat with no title and trying to register it. Not as easy as registering a vehicle.

Do Not buy any boat other than a Canoe, Kyak, or sail without a title. It's totally not worth the hassle.

Getting a pelican 10e this week and using sonar with both DI and SI. DI transducer will be going on the trolling motor, but need an adjustable arm for the SI transducer so that it won't get knocked off the bottom when loading/unloading from the truck and launching on the bank. Thinking something like the Scotty Kayak Transducer Arm Mount. Any suggestions for what to do?

I`m not familiar with the Garmin products. You`ll probably have to do some fabricating if Garmin does`nt offer a troll motor mount.I ran a Lowrance HDS7 Gen 2 touch on my 8ft Pelican that had both transducers connected to my troll motor and had no problem when loading or unloading it.

I installed a garmin 70dv on my twin troller using ram mounts for the unit and transducer. I didnt have the option for the tm mount as the motors are built into the hull. Works great and if it gets hung up it will just get pushed back instead of broke off. Simple readjustment and your good to go.

Hi all, Happy New Year. It's been a long time since I've been on the forum. I'm thinking about selling my 10' Pond Prowler. It's a 1994 and not the prettiest thing to look at but completely functional. Comes with 45 lb thrust trolling motor, two swivel seats, life vests, a dolly, and anchor. It is pre-wired for a Hummingbird fish finder (transducer mounted on keel) and has a clean title too. I'm not sure yet what I want for it but thinking in the neighborhood of $500. Since our son was born I just don't have the time to get out that I once did. Its been sitting in my side yard for over 2 years

I guess I’m bumping a old thread. I had a 9.5 bass hunter I sold to dan. Wish I’d kept it. Fast forward and I just bought a 8’ pond prowler. Plan to use it when pulling my trailer. Fun little boats.

I was recently browsing the Bass Hunter website and saw they had some new adjustable height pedestal seat bases for their boats. I picked up a couple for my Bass Baby. Excellent quality and definitely kicks the fishabilty of my boat up a notch as well as increased comfort. Also more room under seats for taller things.

I'm looking at a Pond Prowler 8 from Bass Pro. What trolling motor would y'all recommend? I am looking at the Minnkota Endura, but not sure if I need the 30"/30 lbs or 36"/34 lbs or 36"/40 lbs. I am inclined to think the smallest boat may work just fine with the smallest motor (30'/30lbs)!, but thought y'all may already know the best answer!
