I'm going this coming Tuesday. I'll report.

But these pics on TJ Whitworth's FB page should tell you what you want to know --

I went to Cal today. Water temp was 72F mid-lake. Bite was slow but
the 3 fish we did catch went 4, 5, and 6 pounds so we had a nice fish
fry tonight.

The guide said that water temp is about 10 degrees higher than it usually
is this time of year. He said catches will be more consistent when the
water cools some.

Went today, 12/26, and water temp on main lake was 65F.

Fishing poor. And I was with a guide.

It was/is ZIP on my Catfish Calendar for 25th/26th/27th, which most of the time means nothing or very little for me. BC (BlueCat) for 28th, BFT (Buffet) for 29th, which for me, is when I catch a lot of Channel (CC). The weekend (Sat/Sun) is BC for both days. And the New Year starts off with YC (YellowCat) on both the 1st & 2nd. Also, Blues hit pretty good on YC days, but extremely well on BC days. And last, the 31st/1st/2nd is a 3 Day PYC run (behind the scenes, as to their basic pattern.
