Can anybody recommend a good place to stay with a boat when fishing Sabine. I'm planning on putting in at the causeway on the lower end and would like to stay close to there. Thanks

I stayed at the Sabine Pass Motel last week. The beds absolutely suck, but everything else was okay. The rooms were clean, they are less than 1/2 mile from the boat ramp, they have truck and boat parking with plugs available for your battery charger, and they have a big ice machine so bring a 5 gallon bucket to fill up your coolers. You can drive into Port Arthur for nicer places to stay if you are looking for something better. I was looking for close to the ramp and it served my purpose. I would stay there again if I went back. If you are bringing your wife, you better find something nicer.
