 Lake Amistad fishing reports?

Headed down to Del Rio for a 5 day weekend at the In-Laws and plan on spending it on the lake with a lunch box full of turkey sandwiches. Was just wondering how the bass fishing has been now that the waters cooled of a bit.

Hard to get info on West Texas lakes. I don't think there are many people on this site that aren't east of Abilene.
I would tell you but I haven't been there since July.

Fished it in October for 6 days, better fish came out of Rough canyon area and San Pedro flats around the grass

I would tell you but I haven't been there since July. There more than you think but we are deer huntin more than fishin. I know there was a health 9lbr caught Sunday but not much of anything to go with it in a club tournament. They said it wasn't great fishing, tough for the most part.

Well we're headed out this morning. Even if the bites slow it will sure be nice being off work for 5 days.
