The fishing wasn't that great but the scenery was. Hadn't been there in years.

Did you put in over on the north side of 31? I know they have that little developed area over there, then apparently something on the other side, too.
Are you going back when the white bass move up? If so, let me know and I'll float out with you!

I put in at the public ramp next to bridge. I don't usually fish it this time of year but heard the crappie were biting last week. Water was dirty today. Its about 2 feet lower than when I last fished it. Checked out a place that used to be crystal clear and hard to get to with water only 6 inches of water to paddle through to get to it today. All scummed over and nothing biting there. Then as I'm leaving a train comes by and I didn't trust paddling out until it passed.
