I want to reach out to a gentleman that helped me out on Grapevine lake this morning. I think he said Dan. I flagged him down way down the lake with no one around and he towed me all the way back. I offered to pay him for his time and he would not except anything. Thank You Sir again. There are still good people in this world.

Living on Caddo I have towed several. Even saved a couple in a canoe that got lost and gave another guy my trolling motor battery. Never took a dime.
First time I ever fished Sam I spun a hub several miles from my ramp. I trolled over to a dude in a Ranger that was tied up catfishing. I said I really hate to bother you but I have broke down and need to get back to the ramp.
Old man actually said “I just got here, good luck.”
Thankfully two guys in a center console Xpress saw me and towed me. I offered a crisp $100 bill but they would not take it.
There’s lots of good folks out there and a few hard heads.
Glad you got back.

They weren't there by the way, so you didn't miss anything. My second spot, I caught two solid smallies on four casts ...karma at work I guess banana

Two TFF'ers getting to know each other. One needing help and the other willing. Good story. Thanks for sharing.

Motor wouldn't start on Pines this evening right at dark, waved like a mad man at a duck hunter passing, he just waved and kept going, luckily I was close to the ramp took me about an hour to get back to the ramp with the trolling motor and paddling with my net, hope Karma bites that guy in the [censored]
