I have Simms and BPS Pro Qualifier and they are both excellent
I wear the BPS stuff when it's cooler and the SIMMS when it's not as cool out and into the summer months
IMO, the Pro Qualifier is just as good as anything else BPS offers
If you are going to spend $800, wait until TW's black Friday sale and get the Simms 20% off Simms is usually "excluded" from the 20% off... like Diawa / Shimano, etc.. I have the Simms ProDry set. It will keep you dry if you're in a rain "weekend" when it rains over 2 days and you need the suit to keep you dry over time. BPS is great and Cabelas GW is great too. But give any of them the 2 straight day test and tell me which one keeps you dry? I've never had any of my Goretex rainsuits soak through - Cabelas Paclite or BPS 100MPH

For constant rain like that, I double up the rain gear if the temperature allows it. Call it a backup plan.

Cabela's Guidewear is the only expensive suit I've owned. I got the insulated version because I'm very sensitive to cold. Been using it for 4 years now. My wrists/forearms will get a little wet by the end of the day in constant torrential downpours but other than that it's dry and super warm. I'm still able to move and cast well with it on too.

I bought a Simms suit during this last Black Friday sale. The discount showed up in my cart right away and was discounted on my invoice as well. They also discount Daiwa but it does not show up in cart. When your card is charged yuoiu get the discount.

I don't have a boat so I am mostly in the back seat and don't carry a lot of gear. I have frogg toggs they keep the cold wind off in the winter and the rain. A lot of the guys I fish have toggs, they are cheap, they last a few years and do a job keeping cold wind and rain off. For $39 you can't go wrong, really how often do you get caught in the rain?

BPS Pro Qualifier works just fine for me. Keeps me dry for $100 less than the 100 MPH. I have worn it through some heavy rain. Fished two hurricanes on Fork during the Sealy Big Bass and one very nasty rain storm during Sealy just a few years back.

I just now upgraded from H20 (Academy gear) after 3 years. Got a 100mph suit and I love it.

HUK makes a nice suit. I have been in a few downpours in mine and stayed perfectly dry. Not too restricting due to over insulation either, plus I'm 6'2" and 180 lbs and it does not fit me like a potato sack, sleeves and legs are plenty long for comfortable casting without riding up.

Check out " Cool Dry" It's not as pricey as some but better than most.
