Just seeing if anyone currently fishes these that can give some input. Also does anyone know of a retailer in the Lake Conroe area who sells them so I could get my hands on them to feel them? I have a couple of spinning rods but looking to get a couple of casting rods. the couple I'm looking at have a mod fast action which really not a fan of for the technique so wanted to feel them and see how slow they're mod fast really is. Thank you.

I have two of them I use for crappie fishing. Very light and sensitive, HOWEVER, I just had one of the eyes pull out of my 7 ft. rod and had I read the warranty first I probably would have passed on them.

I'm no tour pro or wannabe, so for what it's worth, I'm really enjoying fishing these rods. I stumbled on G-Rod Intl. when I added a back up crappie jig spinning rod. I had it on deck next to a Dobyns Champion Extreme 701. I was quick to shuffle the Dobyns to my back up. The G-Rod blank was more sensitive lighter and stronger. Gary makes great rods, but now I am switching out some Champions and Loomis IMX Bass rods to The G-Rod Pro Bass and Game changers, mostly for my slow moving baits as the sensitivity is unreal. They do seem to be under rated at about a half power if not more. If your going to spend the coin, try one of the Pro Bass series rods. If your looking for a bargain check the Game Changer series, it's not that far off their premium rod.
