Curious if anyone went out in the DFW area today? I bet those 25 mph winds made for a rough day!!

Glad I wasn't out. Working in my shop making knives and the wind suddenly hit and shook the whole building.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

My brothers and I put new metal roof on my moms porch and carport. That was fun.

Man, I bet that was really fun. I was making cabinets & cutting wood outside. I decided to delay working on taking off my SS luggage rack from an old car & putting it on the Metro. I can only think of what it might have been like on the road, such as hauling a 12' foot flat bottom--- "Houston, I repeat, we are airborn". Those acorns felt like rubber bullets or worse (not that I have ever felt those, just taking a while guess).

I can only imagine what it would have been like on Lake Limestone at the bottom of the lake (because whichever way the wind is blowing, it ain't good). No wait, I don't have to imagine. I have been on it 3 times like that. Not something I would wish on anybody, period.
