Reservations: (817) 929-7636
I have 4 seats open on my boat for a fully guided catfish trip on Lake Waco on Friday, November 24. The price is $125 per person.
This is a great opportunity to make new friends with some folks who have similiar interests to your own; while having a great time catching catfish. Many of you will have family in town this week, so this is also a great opportunity to spend some quality time with them or escape from them. The seats are first come first serve, so call me to reserve a seat before they fill up.
We will be focusing on eating size catfish under 10 lbs. To make sure we have plenty of catfish for future generations my policy is to photograph and release all trophy catfish over 10 lbs. The only exception to this policy is for catfish that have swallowed the hook and are going to die if released.
Each fisherman will have his/her own stringer in the ice box to put their catch on, and I will fillet everybody's fish at the close of the trip.
We will meet at the boat ramp at 3:00pm and fish for 4 hours (I do not watch a clock, so we usually run over a bit)
I supply the guide service, boat, fuel, rods, bait, tackle, safety equipment, fish cleaning, and a friendly personality. The only thing you need to bring is your Texas fishing license, drinks, snacks, and an ice chest to keep your fillets cold for the trip home.
When you call I will give you my Paypal ID to send your payment. Reservations will not be held until your payment is received. If you do not have a Paypal account you may send your payment via a Walmart money wire. If you wire money your spot will be reserved when you text or call me with the PIN for the money wire
Reserve your spot today! Call (817) 929-7636
My name is Charles

If I may I would like to ask couple questions because we might be interested in a trip. What kind of boat do you run sir? You mention unless a fish swallows a hook we have to release it, so if we catch a 20lber or bigger we can only keep it if he swallowed it or looks like they wont live? Lastly how long have you been guiding and on what lakes? Before my family and I book a trip we like to know. Thank you

Calm down Opus. You are not making yourself look very smart. Nobody said anything about breaking the law or keeping illegal fish. The law allows one fish over 45 inches per person per day. My policy is to release all fish over 45 inches so that we have some fish for future generations. It is a policy followed by most legitimate guides. The only exception to that policy is if one of those fish over 45 inches swallows a hook and is going to die. If that happens then the fish would be kept instead of throwing it back just to let it die. All fish between 30 and 45 inches are released period.

How many fish over 45" have you caught out of Waco? I fish Waco more than most, and have only caught one.

If you keep more than one fish per person over 45", it doesn't matter if it swallowed the hook or not. It's an illegal fish worth $165 to the judge. That has nothing to do with policy, it's law. You local GW's opinion may vary.
