4.02 pounds, caught on a spinner bait bass fishing on private waters; biggest crappie of any kind I have ever seen; she is back in the water now

No way. Measure the hand and scale it from there. It's like 15"-17" long I'd guess by first look. I'll pull it up on my computer with software to get a pretty accurate guess on Monday, but that's not 24".
