Original owner, original lower unit. I took her out today, put it in gear, started making a clunk sound anytime I was over idle. I serviced the lower unit couple months ago, old oil was clean, no issues. Very little run time since. Am I looking at a new , rebuilt lower or can these things be repaired. It feels like it is not going all the way in gear. I have a hot foot and fully engage the shift lever. Thanks in advance. JD

Try adjusting the shift cable first. PM me and I will walk you through it.
