Has anyone fished the stretch of the Brazos at the bridge? I'm searching Google Maps for possible deep spots on the Brazos, and somewhat near where I live. Saw a boat ramp next to the bridge and wondered if it is worth a try with a kayak. Thanks for your input.

Read an article saying the ramp was gonna close due to the erosion causing it to be unsafe to use. Don't know if the whole area was to be closed or just the ramp and not sure if they have closed it yet. Sounded like a lack of maintenance or not wanting to spend the funds as they said it was a hazard to back off the end of ramp and not be able to pull your trailer out. They are considering repairing it when the water level rises since the river is low from not releasing water the way they used to when they generated electricity. Seems like it would be easier to pour a new ramp while water is low rather than high. Let us know if it is still open if you go. Welcome to the forum.
