I believe they said March but you never know how long it will take.

It only has one public access ramp and they have it closed to build a new park and redo the ramp (which is long overdue). You can still get on the lake and fish it if you have private access.

Good, Always liked that Lake, but trying to launch and load a 21' boat on that ramp was too big of a choir

When you combine the boat ramp with the pleasure boaters that run right up on the fishing boats makes Alvarado a NO-GO for me.

I don't fish it much even though it's 25 minutes away, I've caught a lot of good fish in Alvarado. The ramp is long, long over due especially when you have to wait on the weekend warriors that don't know how to put a boat on the trailer.

I know the engineers who did the designs. This has been in the works a WHILE. Props to the city for getting the funding figured out

FYI 95% sure lake pate cleburne will be getting a new ramp near dam soon too
