TFO and never look back! which ever action you like. About all I have used since I 1st handled one. They are some deal around if you look for them.

I use Duckett Ghost in a Medium Heavy 7'6" cranking rod to throw smaller cranks. For extra deep diverks I use the Duckett White Ice 7'11" cranking. II like pairing these with a 7:1 reel or higher in a 200 series allowing for longer casts from. The higher speed reel also let's you keep up with the fish easier.

All great suggestions. But for a budget CB rod, my fav is the Berkley Lightning Rod Shock. It's designed for braid so it has an excellent parabolic action for cranks. I use the 7'MH for squarebills & other shallow baits & the 7'6" MH for the deep divers. You can get both for your budget.
Less gritchin', more fishin'

If you can find some Academy Ethos rods, they are GREAT for those applications. I use a 7' MH rod for those on 17 to 20# McCoys Mean Green. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

There is a GREAT Dobyns FURY rod for $110, a little bit out of your budget, but it is DESIGNED for CBs. The 705 CB rod works wonders for that application. They have a new series of rods called COLT rods that they have a 705 CB rod for $80, might try it, I haven't yet, but could be a good buy. Hope this helps.
