That's what they advertise, but here in Bossier it's 10% all the time. Has been for the 7 years I've been here. Can't speak for the rest.

Garland and Grapevine BPS give discounts every day for military and law enforcement

i just bought some tackle yesterday at BPS Grapevine. I asked about military discount and showed my ID.
I got a look from the check out lady and she told me that she would honor it this time but going forward the discounts only apply that one week a month.
Thats too bad. Either do it or not, because those dates are too hard to remember when I need something, I need it then.
So, I'll stay with Tackle Warehouse from now on. I hate to wait on equipment to show up but, their discounts are deeper.

The bass pro description says active or retired, not "veteran." Tackle Warehouse gives 10% to all veterans regardless of their status, and they're 10% lower in prices than BPS. Win win! Oh and lets not forget the selection is much better.

My local Academy is absolutely fish worthless. Caters mostly to Women's apparel. Nice viewing in summer time.

That depends on who you ask. I heard about it and asked once and they told me that it was only certain days of the month.
