One of my Dad's favorite trees . They aren't invasive and make a nice "specimen" tree in the landscape . Gonna try using them for bonsai this next year . I have a lot of seeds available so PM me your addy if you're interested .

It's an invasive species and I despised the ones I had at my old house

They are invasive and they spread like wildfire, I am trying to rid my yard of them. They aren't very hearty and fall easily. Their fruit is poisonous to children and pets.

I guess my definition of "invasive" differs. They don't spread out from the roots like locusts or silver maples (poplars) . I'm sure they'll spread from seed much like redbuds and mimosas do but a few shots of Roundup will take care of that . Dad's tree is ~ 20 and shows no sign of weakness or saplings coming up in the yard .

Just an offer for seeds ; no biggie . rolleyes

Best tree ever to make a slingshot handle and always plenty of ammo just for the picking.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!
