OKAY!---I'm old! Just got fitted with two Beltone aids---can hear others now, but worry about them flying out when the Triton is flat out- Any experiences or advice?

You can buy hearing aid retainers called OTOCLIP from Amazon they are like glasses retainers. Personally, I take my hearing aids out when fishing.

Wear a buff over your ears? This is exactly what I was thinking. They're also good for over the nose to cut down on how much dust/pollen ends up in your respiratory system as well, so an added benefit.

I take them out when fishing also. Wind noise and hearing aids are not a good combination. Most brands are a lot more water resistance than they use to be but getting them too wet can lead to an expensive trip.

Me too. I don't want to hear what the fish are saying about me.

I bought my dad some of the shooting ear muffs to wear while we are running. Work perfect and eliminates the wind noise.

Wear a buff over your ears? Yes, the only way to fly. I recently started keeping one around my neck, I can't tell you how many pair of glasses I've lost in my boat. Also don't have to turn my hat backwards or take it off.

I have, make that had, (one went thru the wash machine then 2 weeks later I laid the other one down and forgot where )the kind that fit behind the ear with what looks like fishing line that goes into the ear and every time I took off my sunglasses they'd come off too and most of the time I wouldn't know it so I never wear (wore) mine in the boat. Gotta get some more SO PEOPLE DON"T HAVE TO YELL AT ME AND REPEAT THEMSELVES
God gave me two ears and one mouth so I listen twice as much as I talk

Huh? haha! I need to go get them, or so I've been told (I think?). I've gotten to where the wind noise running bothers me, so I've started keeping a set of the little foam hearing protectors that are on a plastic loop on my steering column. I put them in when I run. I may not hear my motor coming apart, or my partner trying to tell me to 'slow down under the bridge' but maybe it will save some of the hearing I have left. Wish I'd have done it sooner. Also wish I had done it duck hunting, shooting that dang 7 mag., the .45 ACP, in the 55 Chevy....
