 bow light wiring help 2000 191 champion

Hi All, I need some help with a repair on bow light. I dont have any instructions for the boat or receptacle. lablelsfrom the boat i have a green/gray wire that says bow light on tag, i have a blue wire that says courtesy light, and a black wire with no label. on the receptacle i have one white, one black, one gray no labels. I am not good with electric. I need to know what wires go to which and or a electric lesson. any help is appreciated.

It would really help to know if you are installing a new light or replacing one you took off. How many wires go to the receptacle on the bow?

fixing existing wires, three wires coming from boat, 3 wires on receptacle, green/gray, blue, black is from boat. does that help?

one will be the bow lite the other will be the courtesy lite on the top of the bow lite an the black will be ground the courtesy lite will be hot all the time an the bow lite will work off the console switch a test lie will tell you.
