Thinking of heading (way) out to Bridgeport tomorrow and trying up each river. Anyone have some recent news on the lake before making the drive? Thank you, 361v.

I had good luck up in Beans Creek 3-4 weeks ago flipping bushes next to the rocks on the SE side. There's some flooded willows on back in the creek with deep water close by but didn't get bit there. All the bass I caught were relating to rock with cover close by. Highly recommend launching in the Wise County Park.

Squarebills produced some pretty consistent action for me last Wednesday, though, I didn't go up into the river...with a westerly wind I hit all the eastern pockets and points from WCP down to where main lake begins. Good luck!

I went out yesterday from 845-145. Only second time on the lake, first time was about 5 years ago. Fished mainly from WCP to main lake. Boated 17-18 fish, with one over. Most were on shad colored square bill, quadzilla rig with 3" swimshad also produced well. Also picked up a few on baby brushhog. A lot of the square bill were almost against the bank (deeper water areas) if not, they were hitting it on the pause. Quadzilla worked best slow rolled. Although fish were holding pretty shallow, I didn't get many if I wasn't at least 10' of water.
