I am repowering my boat next week and I am selling the motor I will be replacing. I have not had any issues with motor. I just have a chance to get it replaced. It is a Mercury 225 EFI 1998 model. $3000.00

I had that same motor on my old boat and it was a beast!!!! I don't know how many hours it had when I sold it, but had to be way up there because I fished every day for for a couple of years in that boat and it would still out run many a new boat on shotgun tournament take offs!!!! I know I pissed off quite a few guys by beating to some good spots!!! Lol

Good luck with your sale, these are fantastic motors!!!!

it is still on boat till next week I order the new motor yesterday Going to Squaw Creek Sunday for it last trip.

This unit does not have the smart computer module that keeps up with hours I am sure it has lots and I have never had compression check but will try to get it before I remove it.
