I just got a new bow panel for my boat and there is a Skeeter Emblem on it that lights up. I wired in the LED light and it won't come on, the running lights still come on, what am I doing wrong? I know the light works because I can touch the wires directly to the battery and it lights up.

Wire the polarity correctly. If there isa red wire coming out of the LED, it goes to +12V.

Test lights work wonders to hook things up right.

A simple test light is typically incandescent. These are NOT polarity sensitive. It works if you get one wire connected to each of the + and - supply terminals. Which wire to the + or - just doesn't matter.

LEDs ARE POLARITY SENSITIVE. You must get the correct + wire from the LED module connected to the + of the supply for the LED to work. You probably have them connected in reverse.
