Upgrading electronics is it possible to saving way points from one depth finder to another depth finder? Without photographing writing each way point.

More than likely you should be able to. The method used is dependent on what unit you currently have and what your new unit will be. Basically you just export the waypoints from your current unit to a flash card and then move the card to your new unit and import them. You just need to confirm what file formats the two units support.

What brand and models do you have and what are you buying? Might be an easy answer here.

If both units accept SD cards, then yes. Export from one unit, then import to the other.

YouTube is your friend. Search "how to transfer way points" and you will find numerous videos.
