I am cooking my first batch of corn. how do you store it? freeze, refegerate or in water room temp?

I keep it in zip lock freezer bags or canning jars and keep it in the fridge. Did you cook it in any kind of flavoring. I boil mine in a strong mixture of strawberry or berry flavored koolaid.
