Anyone planning on being on the water this weekend. Current water temps here around Lufkin have been in the low to mid 70s. Supposed to drop to low 30's tonight. Going to be a cold morning tomorrow but you can't catch em from the couch...I wish!

I don't mind fishing in cold weather, but have gotten no-so-fond of high wind speeds combined with low temps.

Best of luck, be careful.

I left my lake house at PK Thursday morning; I knew the wind was going to whip up, and I'm glad I did. We'll head back early tomorrow morning need to find some spots for my grandson to fish for a High School tourney next month.
